Fence Cleaning in Lexington, SC

Heavy oak and pine canopy over the established streets keeps north-facing walls damp most of the year, so algae comes back faster here than in the open new-build developments. It's the single biggest reason Lexington homes call us for fence cleaning, and it's a problem we plan for before the truck leaves the yard.

Why soft wash suits Lexington properties

Around here the housing stock is mostly mixed: older painted brick and hardboard near downtown, large newer vinyl and stone subdivisions toward lake murray. That matters for fence cleaning: Fences collect the worst of it: soil splash at the base, algae on the shaded face, mildew in the grain. On a lake lot the base of a fence line barely dries between rains, which is why the green stripe comes back there first. We clean both sides at a pressure the material can take, and we don't skip the neighbor-facing side.

We work Lexington street by street: Downtown Lexington, Golden Hills, Barr Lake, Hope Ferry and the Old Chapin Road corridor are all regular stops, and being based here means no travel charge and short lead times.

See every question
Can pressure washing damage my wood deck or fence?

Yes, easily. The wrong pressure furs the grain, raises the fibers and permanently roughens the surface. Wood gets the lowest pressure setting we run, applied with a wide fan tip and always along the grain. If a deck is already soft or rotting we'll tell you before we clean rather than discover it mid-job.

Will the cleaning solutions hurt my plants or pets?

Our detergents are biodegradable and break down on contact with water. Before we start we saturate every bed, shrub and lawn edge in the work zone, and we rinse everything again when we finish. Dilution is what keeps plants safe. Pets should stay inside while we work and can come back out as soon as surfaces are dry, usually within an hour.

How long will the results last?

It depends on shade, humidity and how much tree cover you have. As a rough guide: house washing holds up 12–18 months, decks and fences around 12 months, and concrete around 12 months. Heavily shaded north-facing walls are always first to regrow, and anything within sight of open water regrows faster than the same surface a mile inland. If you'd rather not track it, our maintenance plan schedules it automatically at a lower rate.
